Crown Crystal 1920's rare carnival glass cake stand

Eye-catching and beautiful antique carnival glass pedestal cake stand by Crown Crystal Glass, Australia. Circa 1920's.

This rare piece is striking in it's appearance, a wonderful example of early carnival or iridescent glass with an aqua centre and aqua glass pedestal base. Featuring beautiful wavy edges and a hobnail and cane pattern to the underside of the plate, this would not only make an attractive dish to display cakes but would be a beautiful table centrepiece.

Crown Crystal Glass produced carnival glass in Australia from around 1919 - 1928.

A lovely collectible piece of Australian glass. In excellent condition, some minor scratches to plate surface commensurate with age.
