Feature Furniture can deliver furniture to Melbourne Metro locations with a general delivery charge of $75. This is subject to change or negotiated dependent on location and the size of the piece to be delivered. Please ask before purchase to be sure. We will endeavour to provide delivery at the lowest possible price for you and do not put any margins on delivery costs. We charge you what we pay and nothing more.

For interstate locations furniture is shipped with a private courier specifically shipping furniture items. This cost is dependent on your location and can be quoted with a post code provided. The average cost for a sideboard to be delivered to NSW is currently around $150-$200, to give some indication to potential purchasers. This is with a courier who takes the appropriate care with these unique items.

Customers are welcome to arrange their own transportation. If the buyer arranges their own courier/delivery then the buyer is responsible to ensure the appropriate care is taken by the courier. We do not pack furniture for transportation. We will wrap legs and pallet wrap the item but blanketing is often required as well which we do not provide. We cannot be responsible for any damage caused during transit. In this case it is advised that the appropriate insurance is taken with the courier/delivery company.

Pick up is available if you are in Melbourne, with pick up location being Frankston South 3199.

Furniture pieces are non-refundable. Please ask as many questions as you need to, or I will happily arrange viewing of the furniture item prior to purchase if convenient.

For furniture pieces, as with any vintage item, they are not new nor are my finishes machine produced. All work is done by me, by hand, and therefore you can always expect some imperfections with old pieces. Having said that, the utmost care is taken with my work and I would only sell items I would keep myself and that I am completely happy with.

Vintage Wares and Homewares

All other vintage wares and home decor items are shipped via Australia Post. Please be aware that shipping fragile items requires lots of packaging so that they arrive to you safely, this means that the volume and weight of packages is usually much larger than the items themselves. Unfortunately this means higher than average shipping costs, however breakages are extremely rare.

Free shipping is offered at times during promotional periods, please subscribe to our newsletter to access these offers. Most vintage clothing is shipped free with the exception of heavy items such as overcoats. Returns are accepted on clothing for the sake of fit, please contact us if you need to return clothing.

We ship internationally, and the postage charges are shown during checkout. Some heavy items are not automatically offered with international shipping, however if you are interested in any items that fail to show an international postage cost, then please provide your location and postal code and we can happily provide a shipping quote. Furniture items excepted.

Shipping prices are calculated via the checkout/cart page and vary with weight and bulk of items being delivered. Returns are accepted of vintage homewares, should you have a valid reason for being dissatisfied with the item. Refunds will be given once the item has been received back in the same condition it was sent to you. Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping is paid by the customer. We do not refund for change of mind so please ask any questions you may have prior to purchasing.

Orders are sent within 1-3 days of order placement, with the exception of furniture which requires more lengthy and detailed delivery organisation. Tracking numbers are uploaded against your order, and advice or updates on orders will be sent via email. Please ensure you whitelist our email address featurefurnitureshop@gmail.com within your email program, or alternatively please actively check your junk folder for our communication emails.

All orders post from Melbourne. Your location in relation to Melbourne will determine approximate delivery time. Generally, regular post is 3-7 business days for metro areas within Australia. Regional areas may take longer. International post is generally 2-4 weeks but cannot be guaranteed. Tracking via Australia Post is generally very clear and accurate.

Postage insurance is taken on items over $200, and included at no extra charge for these items.

RETURNS

All of our products are vintage or upcycled, therefore signs of wear or use are unavoidable and these items will never be perfect. Having said that, we only source and offer items of the finest quality and best condition possible. Generally we do not offer items that have any damage. All details and any wear evident will always be disclosed within the item's description so please take the time to read these descriptions. Refunds will not be given on vintage items, these sales are final.

Any damage caused by shipping will be investigated and refunded where applicable. We have shipped fragile items all over the world since 2015 and damage or breakages are rare. We pack all items very securely with multiple packaging supplies to ensure your item is received as it left us.

All furniture items are restyled with pride. We choose vintage furniture items of solid quality and restyle using quality products and finishes.

Refunds cannot be given for delays with shipping, this is beyond our control. Your understanding is appreciated.

CANCELLATIONS

If, for any reason, you wish to cancel your order please contact us within 12 hours of order placement. Order processing and packing begins within hours of an order being placed as part of our quality processes.
