Fantastic and rare clear glass hobnail punch bowl with handblown glass ladle.
This is a stunning glass piece, unsure as to the exact maker but could be Early American glass. Dating anywhere from the early 1900's to the 1950's when hobnail glass was popular. Use as a punch bowl or soup tureen, has a lid with stem to appear like an apple or pumpkin. An extremely rare and unique piece.
Beautiful heavy and thick glass piece, including the quality hand made ladle. Has some small chips to the inside rim from use (pictured) but overall in excellent condition. Reverse hobnail to the lid, detailed ridged glass top stem. A unique piece for serving at the dinner table or party.
Measures approx. 250mm diameter, 190mm (H, bowl), 270mm (h, with lid)
Weight approx. 2.3kg
This item will package as large and bulky, and as it is also fragile, the postage rate is higher than average.
