Vintage New Zealand Pukeko salt and pepper shaker set on wooden tray.

Blue ceramic with pale blue painted breast and orange beak, a very cute novelty salt and pepper shaker set. Stoppers in place.

The shakers are in excellent condition, the tray label is worn a little as pictured.

The Pukeko bird is found throughout New Zealand and is also known as the Australasian Swamphen (also found in Australia, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea)
