Brownie Downing framed mid century prints

Gorgeous and collectible framed wall art by the Australian artist Viola Edith (Brownie) Downing, born in Manly, Sydney, 1924. 
She developed an interest in Aboriginal culture from her father and achieved great success decorating ceramic items such as wall plates and creating illustrations of endearing Aboriginal children.

They are in very good condition considering their age, however some appear quite dirty underneath the glass and they would benefit from reframing or taking these frames apart for cleaning. 2 of them have labels on the back which does not reflect the correct picture - The Crab label is on the Little Mothers frame and vice versa. This seems to be an original framing error.

Each measures approx. 195mm x 170mm
