Pierre D'Avesn art deco star shaped vase with textured bark glass, circa 1940s. The vase is in the shape of a 12 point star, textured on the outside and smooth finish on the inside.
Fabulous unmarked condition, seemingly rarely used. Collectible mid century art glass vase.

Pierre D'Avesn worked for many of the great French glass makers of the period, including Lalique where he designed the famous 'Serpent' vase and 'Tourbillons' vases. These vases are highly collectible and highly valuable.
