1950's black lucite and brass basket style handbag

Collectible and stunning mid century 1950's black lucite and brass basket style handbag.

A unique style with brass basketweave body in wonderful shiny condition. A vintage statement piece with lucite hinged top and handle, gold front push style latch and rounded lucite top handle. Finished with gold toned fittings.
Internal lining is a loose, unattached piece of black satin type fabric and looks to be a replacement. Can be used with or without a lining. In excellent condition, some minor scratching/scuffing to base as expected for age.

These bags were very popular in the 50's and 60's and this handbag will create a unique addition to any outfit. Lucite bags  are highly collectible and make a true vintage statement and this piece is an exceptional example.
