Strombergshyttan Sweden small posy and bud vase

An elegant and collectible Scandinavian small posy and bud vase, by Studioglas Strömbergshyttan of Sweden, signed to base and labelled. Designed by Asta Strömberg, circa mid 1950's.

Quality collectible Swedish glassware, in excellent condition with original label in place. Beautiful thick glass typical of Stromberg and highly collectible.

Measures approx. 110mm (H) x 70mm (W) x 50mm (D) - 10mm thick glass

Strömbergshyttan Glassworks is synonymous with mid-century Swedish glass. 
Founded in 1876, it was originally named Lindefors and later became known as Strömbergshyttan in 1933 when Edvard and Gerda Strömberg took over operations. In 1976 it was bought by Orrefors. 
Strömbergshyttan’s pieces can be found in many museum collections, including the Swedish National Museum of Art & Design.
