Brownie Downing 'Frae Bonnie Scotland' decorative trinket dish

Gorgeous and collectible trinket dish and decorative plate by the Australian artist Viola Edith (Brownie) Downing, born in Manly, Sydney, 1924. 
She achieved great success decorating ceramic items such as this small dish with endearing children illustrations.

This is a lovely souvenir style featuring a little boy dressed in traditional Scottish clothing, playing the bagpipes with the words 'Frae Bonnie Scotland'.
