George Washington (1732 - 1799) was a Founding Father and First President of the United States. This character jug was designed by Stanley J Taylor and first issued in 1982 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of George Washington's birth. Number D6669.
This jug is the large size character jug (head only as opposed to the full body toby jugs) produced by Royal Doulton for over 60 years and are highly collectible.
In excellent condition, seemingly as new.
