Collectible Melba Ware toby jug, Henry VIII.
Henry VIII was modelled on Henry Tudor (1491 - 1547), the King of Great Britain from 1509 to 1547. His infamous life is well known, he married 6 times in an attempt to produce a male heir to the throne. He was excommunicated by the Pope for divorce and founded the Church of England.
This jug was produced by H. Wain & Sons under their Melba Ware label during the mid century.
In excellent condition.
