A collection of 1950's 'Swirl' pattern glass plates by Chance Bros., England and designed by Margaret Cassons.

Chance Bros. produced industrial and optical glass in the early 20th century, and started producing domestic wares around the 1920's. In 1951, Chance launched its ‘Fiesta’ range, made from thin, lightweight glass sheets, which were then printed with a pattern. Fiesta Ware was produced into the 1980's and is quality, collectible glassware.
This 'Swirl' pattern is a light grey printed on the reverse with gold gilt edges. Some very minor wear to gold edge and minor signs of use on the plate surface (not all plates affected). Overall excellent condition.

Oval platter - 355mm x 235mm
Round plates - 210mm diameter (large) and 175mm diameter (small)
Round wave edge plate - 205mm diameter
