WW1 postcards featuring Lord Kitchener and ANZAC soldier correspondence - Set of 5
A fantastic collection of WW1 postcards, circa 1914.
Set of 5 postcards includes -
-Lord Kitchener portrait postcard "Men of the Moment", unused
-Success to the NZ Expeditionary Forces with a printed message to the Troops from Earl Kitchener, unused with one mark/spill to front as seen.
-Photo of soldiers kit layout for inspection, written on at back/used
-Sailors postcard with bulldog, unused
-Postcard of the 'Odalisque du Sultan' which is a fantastic historic piece of memorabilia, with correspondence from a soldier (ANZAC) who was camped in Egypt in December 1914 and spoke of them seeing the Pyramids and Sphinx. This was where the Australian and NZ forces trained in preparation for the Western Front and Gallipoli.
An amazing collection of WW1 postcards in great condition with some wear to edges from age.
All postcards are sent with cardboard reinforcement to protect from bending.
