A very rare set of magazines from the 1950's titled 'China Reconstructs'
These are fascinating for history and political lovers, a bi-monthly publication (later in 1955 it was monthly) by the China Welfare Institute.
Chinese officials created the publication to present the work and achievements of the Chinese people to people abroad. An official outlet of the Chinese Communist Party, intended to promote knowledge of China's culture, geography, economy and social affairs as well as a positive view of the People's Republic of China and its government. Full of articles and photos.
I have 20 volumes, and prefer to sell the full set. However please message me if you would like a particular volume. There is a limit of 10 photos for listings, I am happy to provide more photos on request.

A very collectible publication and very rare to find from this era. In great condition, some wear or use evident to some corners however no tears, in tact and overall excellent condition for age.
Measures approx. 305mm x 230mm (W)
